Bryan and Umbrella Umbrella USA is managed by Bryan Van Vranken and his father Michael. Bryan first traveled to Nepal in the Summer of 2004. Since his initial visit, he has set up Umbrella Foundation USA. For the past eight years he has helped with US fundraising, child sponsorships and volunteer efforts. His greatest contributions however are the personal visits to Kathmandu to spend quality time with the children that we support. Bryan received his BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and his MBA in International Business from the University of South Carolina. Currently employed by Liberty Mutual Group, Bryan also is actively involved in several other not-for-profit organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlanta and the Open Door Community. Bryan has a wonderful wife Robin, and resides in Atlanta, GA. Together they sponsor Kiran Gurung, one of the Umbrella boys.
