About Mick Founder and Guide for Wilderness Trekking, organizing treks andexpeditions in the Himalaya for over 20 years. I live with my young family on Quadra Island, a small remote Island on the West Coast of Canada, traveling  to Nepal twice a year to lead treks and explore new regions.
Mick and Umbrella I met the founders of Umbrella over 5 years ago and visited the orphanage in 2006. With our business, Wilderness Trekking expanding we are able to offer work experience places for two children on each trek as well as raising awareness and funds back in Canada. We hope to develop our relationship and fundraising initiatives in the coming years.
