In a short period of time Umbrella has grown into one of Nepal’s largest children’s homes. Everything that Umbrella has achieved to date has been thanks to the dedication, generosity and vision of individuals around the world.

The Umbrella Foundation has relied on individual sponsors, donors and volunteers to fund all of our projects to date. To date, Umbrella has not received any corporate sponsorship or government support and Umbrella work tirelessly to make sure every cent donated goes to the meeting the needs of the children under our care.

The Umbrella Foundation has not only grown in Nepal but around the world. We are now a registered charity in five countries, with hopefully more to follow. This growth in support has been largely thanks to past volunteers, who have experienced Umbrella’s work first hand, returning home and continuing to help Umbrella through child sponsorship, hosting fund raisers and spreading the word of Umbrella.
